HOMEWORK: Homework will be assigned on Wednesdays,  and collected one week
--------  later in class.  The homework counts 10% toward the course grade.

EXAMS:    There will be two in-class midterm exams on  Wednesday October 2
-----     and Monday November 4,  and a final exam  on Tuesday December 17
          The highest midterm grade, and the grade on the final contribute
          45% each to the class grade.
