Geodesics and minimal surfaces in periodic media
A classical problem in analysis concerns the study of geodesic curves ,
or more generally minimal surfaces on the torus or , by periodic
extension on periodic media.
We will discuss the question of the existence of plane like geodesics
and minimal surfaces, and their relation to homogenization .
