The weekend-long TGTC conference at the Mathematics Department of UT Austin features leading researchers in low-dimensional topology, hyperbolic geometry, geometric group theory, gauge theory and symplectic topology.

The TGTC conferences have been running since 1989. This will be the 58th.

Banquet

The conference banquet will be held on Saturday evening at The Clay Pit. The cost will be $25 per person.

Support

We will be able to offer some support for expenses. Graduate students, junior faculty, women, minorities, and persons with disabilities are especially encouraged to participate and to apply for support. To be eligible for this support you should register no later than October 17th.

Accomodation

NEW: The conference has an additional block of rooms at Extended Stay America Austin on 6th Street. These are at a rate of $139 + tax per night. These are available until November 6.

The conference has arranged blocks of rooms at special rates for participants at two Austin hotels, La Quinta and Embassy Suites. Participants wishing to take advantage of this should contact the hotels directly by the end of October. Further information can be found here.
