The BzR Seminar

Spring 2021 / Fall 2020 / Spring 2019

This is the website for the slightly bizarre grad student seminar at UT Austin, on an assortement of topics such as: derived algebraic geometry, representation theory, geometric Langlands, QFT, and other related topics. It is run by its namesakes: David Ben-Zvi and Sam Raskin--the BZ and R of the BzR seminar! This semester, it is organized by Tom Gannon and Kendric Schefers.

The topic of the 2021 Spring Semester's BzR Seminar will be Geometric Langlands. Specifically, the first hour will be an open Q&A with David and Sam, and, in the second hour each Friday, we will be discussing the recent series of papers co-authored by Arinkin, Gaitsgory, Kazhdan, Raskin, Rozenblyum, and Varshavsky. We will be meeting on Zoom.
