Prerequisites and Restrictions: The prerequisite is one of M408D, M308L,
M408L, M308N, M408S or M408M, with a grade of at least C-.

You will have an assignment due every class day at noon starting June 7. These will be quizzes, except for the four exams (exam dates and details are listed on the calendar.) The assignments are grouped into sets. There will be four quiz sets, and two exam sets.

Quiz Set 1: 4%.
These are the 10 quizzes turned in by noon on 6/7 - 6/18. Each quiz is worth 8 points. You need to make 60 points (out of a possible 80 points) to get full credit for this quiz set.

Quiz Set 2: 4%.
These are the 14 quizzes turned in by noon on 6/22 - 7/9. Each quiz is worth 8 points. You need to make 84 points (out of a possible 112 points) to get full credit for this quiz set.

Quiz Set 3: 4%.
These are the 14 quizzes turned in by noon on 7/13 - 7/30. Each quiz is worth 8 points. You need to make 84 points (out of a possible 112 points) to get full credit for this quiz set.

Quiz Set 4: 4%.
These are the 9 quizzes turned in by noon on 8/3 - 8/13. Each quiz is worth 8 points. You need to make 54 points (out of a possible 72 points) to get full credit for this quiz set.

Exam Set 1: 40%.
These are the first 2 exams turned in by noon on 6/21 and 7/12. Each exam is worth 50 points. You need to make 75 points (out of a possible 100 points) to get full credit for this exam set.

Exam Set 2: 44%.
These are the last 2 exams turned in by noon on 8/2 and 8/16. Each exam is worth 50 points. You need to make 75 points (out of a possible 100 points) to get full credit for this exam set.
- Grade cutoffs: If the course is curved, the curve will not be known until after the
last exam. You are guaranteed cutoffs that are standard (93-100 A, 90-92 A-, 87-89 B+, etc.)
or better. Final grades are final and will not be changed. If you
feel extenuating circumstances were deleterious to your grade in
the course, please contact Student Emergency Services.
