- Homework: 15%. homework will be posted on the course webpage https://web.ma.utexas.edu/users/kechen/.
- Quizzes: 10%. Quizzes will be given on most Mondays. Your three lowest quiz scores will
be dropped. There will be no makeups for any reason.
- Midterms: 50% = 2 * 25 %. There will be two midterms and your lowest midterm score will be replaced by your final exam score, if you have a higher score in the final exam. There will be no make up midterms for any reason. The midterms will be held on
- Friday, Feb 28th, 11-11:50 am
- Final Exam: 25%. There will be no make final exam for any reason. The final exam will be held on
- Friday, May 15, Take-Home format.
- Grade cutoffs: you are guaranteed a standard cutoff in this course (D for 60% or above, a C- for 70% or above, a C for 73% or above, a C+ for 77% or above, a B- for 80% or above, a B for 83% or above, a B+ for 87% or above, an A- for 90% or above, and an A for 93% or above. ) If the course is curved, the curve will not be known until after the final exam. The curved grade will be to your benefit only.

- Drop Deadlines: The last day to drop a class for a possible refund is Friday, January 24th.
