About Me

Hello! I'm Liyan Tang, a senior undergraduate student studying Mathematics at the University of Texas at Austin. I'm now an undergraduate research assistant for the professor Greg Durrett in the Department of Computer Science and the professor Ying Ding in the School of Information. Both projects involve conducting research in the medical domain. My current research interests are Model Interpretability, Machine Reading Comprehension, Text Summarization and Multi-lingual NLP. I'm still open to combining text and image in the multi-modal setting, especially in the medical domain.
