systems of differential equations. There is a
heavy emphasis in chapter 7 on linear algebra, a
subject that most of you have not taken.
Therefore, we will focus most of our energy on the
2x2 case (that is, when there are only 2 dependent
variables). Our treatment of 7.2 and 7.3 will be
light.
