GRADING RUBRIC FOR STUDENT PRESENTATIONS

I. Mathematics  (about 60%; difficulty of problem will be taken into account.)
•    Displayed good understanding of the mathematics.
•    Details filled in as needed.
•    Answered questions informatively.

II. Presentation (about 40%)
•    Format fostered engagement and active (minds-on) participation.
•    Stated prerequisite knowledge.
•    Selected presentation method/media well suited to topic.
•    Materials (if used) well prepared.
•    Good use of media.
•    Writing readable.
•    Speaking understandable.


Note: If two students share the topic, each will be evaluated separately -- so each should participate in the presentation!
