Brief description: Design and analysis of experiments,
including one-way and two-way layouts; components of variance;
factorial experiments; balanced incomplete block designs; crossed and
nested classifications; fixed, random, and mixed models; split plot
designs (if time permits).
Prerequisite: M 378K (Introduction to Mathematical Statistics) or equivalent. Some experience with using matrices (an undergraduate linear algebra course should be more than adequate) is also desirable.
Textbook: Dean and Voss, Design
