Introducing:  Dr. Elaine Rich



We got to play Nim, a game played with toothpicks.



Everybody gets to play!



Toothpicks can also be used to decorate a map of the UT campus.



The crowd puzzles over how to win the game.



Sorry, Dad, but you're gonna lose.



We learn that Nim is related to binary and decimal numbers.



A new question:  can you travel around this map, passing over
each road exactly once?



Answer:  No!
