T/F: True/False or Twitter/Facebook? The Mathematics of Social Circuits
featuring Dr. Robert Ghrist

On March 26th, we had a special guest speaker from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Robert Ghrist gave a talk about the mathematics of circuts. We learned about logic gates, different types of circuits, and the mathematical concepts behind how computers actually work. The students together formed a human 'XOR' circuit, and in doing so we learned that computations can be performed with circuits made out of objects other than electricity and wires.
