Hi everyone! Welcome back to SMMG! Today we're learning how to play dots and boxes. This is a classic game that many of you have probably played before. The game is played on a grid of dots. Players take turns joining two horizontally or vertically adjacent dots by a line. A player that completes the fourth side of a square (a box) colors that box and must play again. When all boxes have been colored, the game ends and the player who has colored more boxes wins. We will have office hours on April 25 where you can ask questions about this game and any other math topics!
