Welcome back to SMMG! Today we're going to learn how to play a game called "Bridg-It"! This is also called "Gale", or the "Shannon switching game". The board is an array of dots. The first player uses a red "pencil" to connect any pair of adjacent red dots, horizontally or vertically but not diagonally. The second player uses a blue "pencil" to similarly connect blue dots. Throughout the game, none of the lines can cross! The object of the game is to build a bridge from one side of the board to the other. The first player (red player) is trying to cross horizontally, and the second player (the blue player) is trying to cross vertically. Now that you know how to play Bridg-It, you can start answering the questions on the SMMG site. We also have some hints in case you get stuck. As always, feel free to email us with any questions, and don't forget about the volunteer office hours on March 7th!
