I am a 5th year math PhD student at the University of Texas at Austin, advised by Lewis Bowen. My research interests lie in probability theory, dynamics, and geometry.
I received my Bachelor's degree in mathematics from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2019. During my undergraduate, I did some work in Legendrian knot theory with Caitlin Leverson. The result was a computer program which computes the "polynomial" (a generalization of "linearized") contact homology of the Chekanov-Eliashberg differential graded algebra. Please reach out if you would like access to the program.
Chess is one of my favorite endeavors in my spare time nowadays. Although I learned chess as a child, I never really pursued it until I began my graduate studies. I am quite terrible at the game, but have improved significantly upon practicing.
I am also an avid dancer. As an undergraduate, I competitively ballroom danced and performed at various events around the US, including the Arnold Dancesport Classic (part of the Arnold sports festival) in Columbus, OH, and the Carolina Fall Classic in Charlotte, NC.
