This is the homepage for the 2017 Summer Mini-Courses, a series of week-long graduate student-run minicourses at UT Austin.
These mini-courses will focus on tools, methods, and ideas that aren't usually covered in prelims but are useful in topics classes/research. Each mini-course will run for a week, and the hope is that a mini-course will be more engaging and focused than a summer-long seminar. These courses are primarily for graduate students, but all are welcome to participate! These courses are inspired in large part by the ones held at University of Michigan, which are run by Takumi Murayama.
