Abstract. This paper discusses a possible derivation of Einstein s field equations of general relativity through Newtonian mechanics. It shows that taking the proper perspective on Newton s equations will start to lead to a curved space time which is basis of the general theory of relativity. It is important to note that this approach is dependent upon a knowledge of general relativity, with out that, the vital assumptions would not be realized.
