Prerequisites and Restrictions: The prerequisite is one of
M341 or M325K
with a grade of at least C-.

Grades:
Your grades and class materials can be found on Quest.
It can be found at quest.cns.utexas.edu. Grades are distributed as follows:
- Homework: 25%. Homework will be collected every Monday. Your three lowest homework scores
will be dropped. No late homework will be accepted for any reason.
- Midterms: 50%. There will be two midterms. I will replace your lowest midterm score with
your final exam score, provided that this is to your benefit (i.e. your grade on the final
exam is better than your lowest midterm score). Each midterm score will count for 25% of
your final grade. There will be no makeups or alternate midterm times for any reason. The
midterms are on
- Friday, March 1
- Friday, April 12
- Final Exam: 25%. The final exam is worth 25%. There will be no makeups for any reason.

- Grade cutoffs: If the course is curved, the curve will not be known until after the
final exam. You are guaranteed cutoffs that are standard (93-100 A, 90-92 A-, 87-89 B+, etc.)
or better.

General Information:
- Drop Deadlines: The last day an undergraduate student may, with the dean’s approval, withdraw from
the university or drop a class (except for urgent and substantiated, non-academic reasons),
is Monday, April 8th.
